Terms of Sale:
As a member of the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA), we follow trade practices of the ADGA's current Guide Book, Section XIX.

For the option to purchase a Davis Run kid, a $100 deposit is required to reserve or hold any animal.  We ask that you make a first and second kid choice  just in case your first choice is not available.  If your choices of kids are not available or if they do not meet our standard of quality, we will gladly refund your deposit or transfer it to another kid if that is what you desire.  There are no refunds on cancelled orders.  Deposits along with any monies paid on cancelled orders are not refundable.  Prices quoted are for pre-ordered kids picked up or shipped between 2 and 6 weeks of age or if dam raised between 8 and 12 weeks.

Prices quoted are for animals picked up at the farm.  The deposit on live animals offered for sale is $100 down per animal and will hold that animal until picked up within 2 weeks.  Sending a deposit is your guarantee that you will buy that animal at the agreed price quoted, within the time frame specified.  Once a deposit is placed on a live animal, the goat must be picked up or shipped and out of my possession by 2 weeks or the animal may be offered for sale again or a boarding fee assessed at the rate of $30 per week.  Deposits can be transferred to another animal, but monies paid on cancelled orders are not refundable.  Cash, cashier's checks, money orders and good cleared checks are accepted.  I ask that you have cash if paying at pick up.  Registration papers will be held until personal checks clear the bank.  The Buyer is responsible for any and all bank fees assessed for bad checks.  The Buyer is responsible for all health certificates, veterinary exams, blood tests, shipping, crate and any other costs associated with veterinary fees and shipment.

When reserving a kid, if you have 1st reserve on the kid, it's yours.  I will not keep it no matter how nice it is.  I will not give it to a friend instead and you don't have to be my friend to get it.  You do have to put a $100 deposit on any animal for me to hold it or reserve it for you.  Your deposit is non-refundable on canceled orders.  If the kid ordered is not produced or is not up to our standards we will refund your deposit or put it towards next years kid crop.  If I have "retained" on a doe or buck, I do have 1st pick over the 1st reserved.  If you want a certain color that is ok with me, but let me know up front what you are wanting and you may want to make more than one choice.

Some kids are raised on their dams and some bottle raised.  If that is an issue for you, you need to ask me about it.  I'm not a mind reader and the more information you can give me the happier you will be with your choices.  I do my best to be as helpful as I can and will not lie to you about any of my animals.  I want to be better than the way people have been to me.

Deposits and Payment:
A $100 deposit is required to reserve the kid of your choice or to hold an animal for sale.  Please make checks payable to Jenny Carr.

Forms of Payment:
Please contact us before making a payment.  We would prefer to confirm goat availability, price and other transaction details before any money is exchanged in order to avoid confusion or errors.  We accept money orders, cashier's or personal checks and cash as payment.  We reserve the right to charge a fee for returned checks and do not accept checks at time of pickup.

Pick up & Delivery:
Kids are available for pickup no earlier than 2 weeks of age and no later than 8 weeks of age.  (It is preferred that they are picked up between 2 and 4 weeks of age.)  It is preferred that you pick your goat up in person.  If that is not feasible, we offer an airline shipping option.  Let us know if you require airline shipping ASAP so we can make those arrangements.

Final Sale & Registration:
The buyer is responsible for the sale price of the goat as well as all ADGA fees.  If applicable, the buyer is also responsible for the cost associated with any additional boarding fees, health certificates and shipping/delivery charges.
